What is Poetry in Motion?

After an extensive call was put forth to Australian Poets for poems that would adapt well from page to screen. Eight (8) poems were selected as the 'Chosen 8'. These 8 poems will be made into 8 short films of up to 5 minutes in length, produced, directed and created by emerging Australian and mostly Brisbane artists. These films will be exhibited at Film festivals, poetry festivals, cafes & on television. . .

LEMONADE & TEQUILA - this unique story will be told using stop-motion animation. From his 'vantage point' he has been able to monitor her life so far. Leaping from page to page each month. But he will leap off the page managing to morph into everyday household objects in order to avoid detection from roommates and a mischievous cat. Director Shannon Ryun.
